The 907 Initiative’s “Yes Man Dan” campaign provides simple, factual, and digestible information to help Alaskans understand the harm that Senator Dan Sullivan causes to our state when he votes as a Yes Man for Washington. The 907 Initiative is an Alaska-based government watchdog.
Sen. Dan Sullivan consistently does the bidding of national party leaders (including voting with them 98% of the time), even when it’s bad for Alaska. Here are just a few examples from this year:
Sullivan voted multiple times for tariffs, which raise prices for consumers, despite Alaska already having a higher cost of living than the rest of the country.
Sullivan voted to cut Medicaid for thousands of Alaskans, even though one in three Alaskans depend on the program for their healthcare.
Sullivan repeatedly attacks SNAP food assistance by voting for cuts via the Big Beautiful Bill and working with Senate colleagues to shut down the government over insurance subsidies.
Sullivan said this year that selling off public lands “is a great idea,” even though Alaskans depend on these lands for our food, our work, and our culture.
These votes hurt Alaskans by raising our costs when we already face some of the highest costs of living in the country. Sullivan consistently goes along with whatever Washington tells him to do and votes for policies that negatively impact Alaskan households.
Over the coming months, the 907 Initiative will continue to inform Alaska residents about the cost of Senator Sullivan’s “yes-man” approach and encourage them to call the Senator and ask him to start looking out for our interests.
