Yes Man Dan on selling off public lands in Alaska: "I think it's a great idea."

Those are Dan Sullivan’s own words. And he’s got the voting record to back it up: Sullivan has repeatedly voted “Yes” for Washington's attempts to sell off our public lands here in Alaska. Once public lands are sold, they’re gone forever. Yes Man Dan is putting your access to public lands at risk.

Hundreds of thousands of Alaskans enjoy public lands every year. We depend on public lands for both subsistence and livelihood. Alaskans use public lands year-round for hunting, fishing, foraging, hiking, snowmachining, and camping. Local businesses and communities depend on public lands through tourism, guiding, outdoor recreation, and resource-based jobs.

The Washington elite want to sell off federal public lands. Selling public lands could eliminate our access for hunting, fishing, subsistence, and recreation. It would also reduce opportunities for local economic activity tied to outdoor use. Alaskans are united in our support for maintaining and protecting public lands, but Senator Sullivan has made it clear he does not share our values. Sullivan has consistently gone along with Washington and voted for policies that could negatively impact Alaskan households.

Over the coming months, the 907 Initiative will continue to inform Alaska residents about the cost of Senator Sullivan’s “yes-man” approach and encourage them to call the Senator and ask him to start looking out for our interests.

The 907 Initiative’s “Yes Man Dan” campaign provides simple, factual, and digestible information to help Alaskans understand the harm that Senator Dan Sullivan causes to our state when he votes as a Yes Man for Washington on issues like public lands. The 907 Initiative is an Alaska-based government watchdog.

If you believe Alaska’s public lands should stay public, make your voice heard.

Together, we can work towards solutions that ensure a sustainable and prosperous future for all Alaskans.
